A flag column: 150th Anniversary of Italy’s National Unity - March 17th 2011
As well as other Roman monuments, Trajan’s column has been floodlit with the colours of the Italian Flag during the celebrations for Italy’s National Unity Anniversary which took place on March 17th. The city has been enlivened by shows, music concerts, theatre performances and art exhibition until two am.
